MandiCasa’s collection of luxury interior doors is expanding with exciting new designs presented this week at the 2022 Salone del Mobile (Milan Furniture Fair) in Italy.
The new offers – designed by Nicola Gallizia – stem from the desire to make glass doors a more integral part of the architecture and interior of the home. The resulting products create synergies with the living environment, redefining the contemporary home.
In each door design, simple geometries are enriched by materials that give body and warmth to the glass while preserving its aesthetic lightness.
Let’s take a closer look at the new products introduced at Salone del Mobile / Milan Furniture Fair 2022.
Pivot Doors
The pivot doors conceal a vertical pivot hinge that makes them rotate around their axis with an effortless motion that echoes the fluidity of modern living spaces.
Certified to hold a load of up to 330 lbs, these doors are available in framed glass and wood and can be made-to-measure in considerable sizes. This opens up interesting aesthetic possibilities at the design and architectural level.
New Glass Door Decorations and Wallpaper
New decorative effects bring a strong identity to the interior doors and their surroundings. The decorations are set between the two 10mm sheets of tempered glass to guarantee durability and easy maintenance.
Heritage, Origin, Tweed, and Open Up are four distinctive and dynamic graphic patterns, offering a perfect balance of shapes, symmetries, and color palettes that mix light and bright hues. Available for hinged, pivot and sliding glass doors, they can be extended to the adjacent walls through matching wallpaper that is resistant, easy to maintain, and feels like canvas to the touch.
The Plaster finish is an exclusive decoration conceived as a tribute to the use of concrete in the history of Italian architecture. Combined with transparent or frosted glass and the titanium finish of the Manhattan framed doors, this decor creates fresh aesthetics of great elegance.
New English-styled Grid patterns join the ones already available for the Manhattan doors, blurring the line between industrial and modern through their linear compositions.
Other decors recreate the magic of oriental fabrics, the lightness of Japanese paper, and the unique texture of leather, giving contemporary form to sensory materials with cultural resonance.
Glass Wall Systems
Systems of partition walls in the same style as the interior doors elevate the architectural quality of glass as a contemporary material. Swing or pivot doors, combined with fixed glass, design the space in linear or more dynamic compositions – depending on the needs.
Wall system with fixed panels in clear glass and Manhattan double 180º swing doors in frosted glass with Ramiè decoration. Frames and handle in Moka finish.
The doors and wall systems are available in North America through MandiCasa’s showrooms and authorized dealers.
